The Brandy Alexander is a brandy-based dessert cocktail recipe that is credited to multiple bartenders. This variation was adapted from The Art of Vintage Cocktails by Stephanie Rosenbaum.
Add brandy, dark crème de cacao, heavy cream, and cubed ice to a shaker.
Shake for 10-20 seconds.
Strain into a cocktail glass.
Garnish with grated nutmeg.
