The El Presidente is a rum-based cocktail recipe that was created by Eddie Woelke at Jockey Club in Havana, Cuba. This variation was adapted from The Art of Vintage Cocktails by Stephanie Rosenbaum.

El Presidente Cocktail Recipe

Ingredients
 1 ½ oz White Rum
 ¾ oz Dry Vermouth
 ½ oz Orange Curaçao
 2 dashes Homemade Grenadine (Click for Recipe)
 1 Orange Peel
Method

Add rum, dry vermouth, orange curaçao, grenadine, and cubed ice to a mixing glass.

Stir for 30-45 seconds.

Strain into a cocktail glass.

Garnish with orange peel.
