The Jungle Bird is a rum-based tiki cocktail recipe that was created at the Aviary Bar in Malaysia in the 1970s. This variation was adapted from The Essential Cocktail Book by the editors of PUNCH and Megan Krigbaum.

Jungle Bird Cocktail Recipe

Ingredients
 1 ½ oz Dark Rum
 ¾ oz Campari
 ½ oz Lime Juice
 ½ oz Homemade Simple Syrup (Click for Recipe)
 1 ½ oz Pineapple Juice
 1 Lime Wheel
Method

Add rum, Campari, lime juice, simple syrup, pineapple juice, and cubed ice to a shaker.

Shake for 10-20 seconds.

Strain into a tiki glass or highball glass over fresh cracked ice.

Garnish with lime wheel.
