The Lavender Sour is a gin-based cocktail recipe that was created by bartender JB Bernstein at Vernick Food & Drink in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. This variation was adapted from an issue of Saveur, an online food, wine, and travel magazine.

Lavender Sour Cocktail Recipe

Ingredients
 1 ½ oz Gin
 ¾ oz Lemon Juice
 ½ oz Green Chartreuse
 ½ oz Lavender Syrup
 ½ oz Egg White
 Dried Lavender Buds
Method

Add gin, lemon juice, Green Chartreuse, lavender syrup, egg white, and cubed ice to a shaker.

Shake for 10-20 seconds.

Remove ice from shaker.

Dry shake for 5-10 more seconds to emulsify egg.

Strain into a cocktail glass.

Garnish with dried lavender buds.
