The Queen's Park Swizzle is a rum-based cocktail recipe that was created in the early 1900s at the Queen's Park Hotel in Port of Spain, Trinidad. This variation was adapted from The Essential Cocktail Book by the editors of PUNCH and Megan Krigbaum.

Queen's Park Swizzle Cocktail Recipe

Ingredients
 2 oz Demerara Rum
 1 oz Lime Juice
 1 oz Homemade Simple Syrup (Click for Recipe)
 4 dashes Aromatic Bitters
 8 Mint Leaves
 1 Mint Sprig

Add simple syrup and mint leaves to a highball glass.

Muddle gently for 5-7 seconds.

Add rum, lime juice, and cracked ice to glass.

Top with bitters.

Stir gently with a swizzle stick for 5-10 seconds.
