The Weeper's Joy is an absinthe-based cocktail recipe that was created by William Schmidt and included in his book The Flowing Bowl: When & What to Drink. This variation was adapted from The Art of Vintage Cocktails by Stephanie Rosenbaum.

Weeper's Joy Cocktail Recipe

Ingredients
 1 oz Absinthe
 1 oz Sweet Vermouth
 1 oz Kümmel
 ½ tsp Homemade Simple Syrup (Click for Recipe)
 2 dashes Orange Curaçao

Add absinthe, sweet vermouth, kümmel, simple syrup, orange curaçao, and cubed ice to a mixing glass.

Stir for 30-45 seconds.

Strain into a cocktail glass.
