About This Syrup
This is our go-to thyme simple syrup made using the stovetop method. It’s fragrant aromas lend the perfect herbal notes to cocktails. I specifically made this one for the Lemon Thyme Gin & Tonic recipe we created with a gifted bottle of Fitch & Leedes Indian Tonic Water we received, but it would also be delicious in other gin-based drinks.
Recipe
Add thyme, sugar, and filtered water to a saucepan over medium high heat.
Stir until sugar is dissolved and water is not yet boiling, then remove from heat.
Let sit for 30-60 minutes until thyme has infused to taste.
Strain into a container.
