The Singapore Sling is a classic gin cocktail that was created in the early 1900s by Ngiam Tong Boon at the Raffles Hotel in Singapore. Many modern recipes for this fruity drink call for fewer ingredients and no soda water, but this long version is one of the most universally liked out there.

Gin Pineapple Juice Lime Juice Heering Cherry Liqueur Triple Sec Bénédictine Grenadine Angostura Aromatic Bitters Soda Water (Optional) Orange Slice

Fill half a highball glass with crushed ice. Add gin, pineapple juice, lime juice, cherry liqueur, triple sec, Bénédictine, grenadine, bitters, and ice to shaker. Shake for 10-20 seconds. Strain into highball glass. Top with soda water. (Optional) Garnish with orange wedge.
