Don is considered the founding father of modern tiki culture. Legend has it he came up with this drink for a customer who later reported that it made him feel like a zombie for the rest of his business trip.

Add rum, velvet falernum, Don's mix, lime juice, absinthe, grenadine, bitters, and ice to a shaker. Shake for 10-20 seconds. Strain into a tiki glass over fresh crushed ice. Garnish with mint sprig.
